WATERCOLOR PAINTINGS

It is said that all good things must come to an end.  And so I must tell you that I am retiring and that this is the last summer during which I will be exhibiting my art at the summer art festivals.  Thank you all for your past support.

                        WHAT PAINTING MEANS TO ME

Art  means different things to different people depending on subject matter, the artist’s representation of that subject, and depth of talent.  The subject of flowers, however, is universally enjoyed by all.  No particular statement or message, just the joy of nature.  I always strive to bring out the beauty, color and vitality of nature with my paintings.  So, when I show my work, my hope is that the paintings will bring pleasure and, perhaps, a smile to those who view them, just as it has given me pleasure to create them.
